Nash first started dancing in 2002 and has been teaching dance since 2007. In his journey of dance exploration, Nash have experimented with various dance genres including Breakdancing, Reggae, Hiphop, Street Jazz and Jazz Funk. All of these explorations have given rise to, and being integral in, his distinct style of dance.
After a period of teaching dance in primary and secondary schools between 2007-2009, Nash had since been teaching dance almost exclusively in commercial dance studios. Having worked at different dance studios in Singapore (including Allegro, 5678, Ocean Butterfly Music Forest, DanzPeople, Studio Wu), as well as being a visiting faculty instructor at a professional dance university in Beijing (China), Nash now brings his experience and expertise to Converge Studios.
Having been in the industry for years, Nash had done numerous shows, competitions and performances. Most recently, he and his all-guys-crew, TheBoyzAlliance, had emerged 1st runner-up, amongst many other professional groups, in the nationally televised dance competition, “The Dance Floor Season 2”. Other than being a contestant, Nash had also played the role of the dance judge, in Gatsby Dance Competition (2016), Happy Valley Dance Competition (2015), and Can’t Stop Dancing (2015).
