Alicia is a professional dancer and budding instructor who received much of her foundations from her peers at Smash.Dis, a dance club in MDIS led by fellow Converge instructor, Choonhui. She later joined Studio Wu’s Elite Team, where she trained extensively in Hip Hop, Jazz, Girls’ Style, Street Jazz and Jazz Funk. Alicia gravitates towards K-Pop, believing that the industry truly helps nurture a dancer’s showmanship and styling.
Her passion, effort and commitment have earned her multiple performance and competition experiences, including placings and finalist spots in dance competitions such as Impresario Group Dance Competition, Teenage K-Pop Dance Battle, Safra Dance Fiesta, “Pulse” Street Dance Competition and H2O. She has also represented Studio Wu for their guest showcase as part of Last Minute Street Crew’s dance recital in 2015 in Surabaya, Indonesia.
Currently a member of MenaqueenX, an all-girls crew specializing in Jazz Funk, led by Xavier Teo, Alicia continues to push herself to be a versatile and well-rounded instructor and dancer.
