Choonhui realized her passion for dance at the age of 13, though she started dancing in Primary School. She started with Chinese Dance before branching out into other genres, including Modern Dance, Hip Hop, Street Jazz, Jazz, Latin Jazz and Girls’ Style.
Choonhui took her first step into the industry with the SAF Music and Drama Company, where she actively choreographed and performed for years, attaining multiple awards including Best New Artiste in 2006 and Best Performer and Individual Excellence Service Award in 2007.
She then joined Studio Wu as a full-time instructor, where her 7 years of service gave her experiences coaching dance clubs (NIE DanceFuzion and MDIS Smash.Dis), kids (courses and WuKidz Performing Team) and Open Classes.
Choonhui continues to be active in the industry, with many of her works featured in schools, corporate events, competitions and Mediacorp productions. She pushes her growth by participating in competitions and events, with her most recent foray, EPIC: The Dance Showdown (2013), awarding her team (Code Supreme) 1st Runner-Up in the competition.
