Inspired by dance at the age of 17, Wei Zong decided to pursue the craft so that he can in turn inspire others someday. This gentle giant started his Jazz journey in Studio Wu, and subsequently branched into Contemporary with NTU Contemporary Dance under the guidance of Jessica Christina and Ryan Tan.
Performing is Wei Zong’s true passion, and he is grateful for the many opportunities that he has had to share his love for dance. He has danced for numerous Mediacorp shows, Starhub TVB Awards 2013 and 2014, and danced and co-choreographed for local artiste Daphne Khoo for the 2015 SEA Games Logo Launch.
After his first solo dance trip to Broadway Dance Centre, New York, in Summer of 2014, where he trained intensively in multiple genres under the International Student Visa Program, Wei Zong feels revitalised and ready to continue his dream of moving people.
