Nicholas started dancing at the age of 17 under the guidance of Peter Teo, and his love for dance has never stopped growing since then. Jazz is Nicholas’ first love, but he found passion for Tap and Contemporary Dance along the way. Nicholas has completed examinations under CSTD Modern Jazz and Contemporary syllabus and is also the first Singaporean to achieve Teaching Certification for CSTD Tap.
Nicholas has choreographed for Child Aid 2011, Jitterbugs Recitals 2010-2012 and schools Ngee Ann Poly, SIM, NUS. He is the current resident choreographer and instructor for Nanyang Polytechnic’s DanzInc.
Nicholas has also participated in competitions with his crew, QUARTZ, and came in 2nd in TRDO 2011 and made it to the Top 4 of the recent Mediacorp dance competition, The Dance Floor.
Nicholas is humbled and honored to have this opportunity to share his passion for dance with other like-minded dancers through teaching.
