Wawan is an experienced performer and instructor of various dance styles. He has been teaching Hip- Hop, Jazz Funk, Street Jazz, Creative Dance and Ethnic Fusion for pre-schoolers, teens and working adults. He is a competitive professional dancer who has won numerous national dance competitions in Singapore. He came in 1st place in the Super24 Dance Competition, 3rd place in the Gatsby Dance Competition (2010), 2nd place in the Jim Beam Dance Competition (2009), 1st place in Danceworks and received the Champion & Artistic Merit Award (2009), among others. Besides competitive dancing and teaching, Wawan has performed in a number of musicals, including ‘BEAUTY WORLD Musical’ at Victoria Theatre in 2015 and ‘IMPAK MAKSIMA Musical’ at Esplanade Theatre in 2009, and represented Singapore in international shows such as WORLD EXPO SHANGHAI in 2010 under Singapore Tourism Board, WORLD EXPO YEOSU, SOUTH KOREA in 2012 under Pico, as well as various commercial and TV productions.
